Latimer Minster

I’ve just come across this new mission-centred church in Beaconsfield called Latimer Minster – Latimer after the reformer and minster, as a centre for mission.

I knew that the Rector, Frog Orr-Ewing had recently left All Saints, Peckham after a period of dramatic growth so it’s really exciting to see him in another role. It seems that Latimer Minster’s aim is to reach mainly the 18-30s generation (Generation Y or millennials) who often get missed by other more traditional churches. Some of the ministries they have started look ideally tailored to this age-group. Some I had thought of myself but others have given me ideas for things that might work he. Frog may be worth contacting to asking him about the background of how it started.
